BeeVital HiveClean may be used at any time of the year (in conditions of outside temperature between -1ºC and 25ºC) indifferent of the physiological state of the bee colony.

The treatment may be applied even in the winter cluster, one single application is sufficient at this time. In the temperate climate conditions, the optimal time of application is late autumn, early winter when the capped brood is reduced to a minimum. In this situation, the treatment is the most effective and in this way the colony is properly prepared for the next year because any overwintering mite means hundreds more in the next season.
