The Varroa acarian has adapted so well to the parasitic lifestyle and to the biology of the bee that any change in its environment disrupts the parasite-host cohabitation system (which is beneficial for pest control). BeeVital HiveClean operates in a complex manner, both on the olfactory and gustatory chemoreceptors of the acarian, which modifies its behavior, and on the bee colony, triggering the grooming behavior.
The association of components in view of enhancing the anti-parasitic effect has proven advantageous. All the substances in the composition of BeeVital HiveClean, taken separately, have been or are used in fighting varroosis, but their efficacy is rarely close to 90%. Association reduces the quantity of active substances introduced in the hive reduced, thus enhancing their effect. By using laborious detection techniques, it has been found that BeeVital HiveClean, applied according to instructions and taking into consideration the biology of the parasite does not leave residues in honey, wax or other beekeeping products and, in time, its efficacy is close to 100%.
